Disability Support
Chase & Grace Projects offer disability support work services .
They can provide bicycle mechanics/riding activities OR non-bicycle related disability support to participants.
All disability support work is provided & billed through the NDIS.
Non-bicycle related support work can include but is not limited to:
Community access & daily living activities (appointments, hobbies etc)
Bush trips / walks
Camp trips
Cooking (out bush or in the home)
Employment support
Recreational activities (cinema, swimming, shopping, events, library etc)
Supported holidays (local or interstate)
Supprting ‘Return to Country’ trips
Basic motor mechanics & odd jobs
And much, much more…
Bicycle related support work can include taking participants on a bicycle ride or rebuilding/repairing a bicycle with them. The aim of bicycle related disability support work is to engage participants in a pro-social activity and learn new and build on existing skills. Participants learn similar skills as outlined in CRANK IT! and
Get A Grip projects.
All disability support work is person-centred and is tailored to the pariticipants unique & personal needs.
